Do you have capital to deploy or clients who need a debt or equity infusion? Two of the nation’s most prominent finance associations join forces to gear-up for Q4'09 by matching distressed capital providers with corporate officers and restructuring advisors who represent distressed companies.

WHO WILL BE THERE?
Participants are principals and leading professionals who are actively involved in financing and restructuring
businesses in corporate America including: equity sponsors, hedge funds, mezzanine and senior lenders, private
sector CEO/CFO’s, turnaround professionals, business brokers, investment bankers, attorneys, accountants, and other transactional specialists.

WHAT'S HAPPENING THERE?

Two of the nation’s largest and most prominent finance associations join forces to gear-up for Q4’09 and beyond. First, high-octane speakers will update attendees on the status of liquidity in the capital markets, the potential impact of new legislation, and avoiding pitfalls within a restructuring. Next, three simultaneous breakout panels will address smaller groups during open mingling. Finally, all attendees enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while engaged in free-flow dealmaking where capital providers match with corporate officers and restructuring advisors who represent distressed companies.

Drawing from his tenure under Henry Paulson at the height of the current economic crisis, and prior years as deputy national security advisor for international economic policy and President Bush’s representative to the Group of Eight, Mr. McCormick will respond to yet unresolved questions of: How did this happen?  How can something similar, or worse, be avoided in the future? What don’t we know about what is next?  How can we work around the current ramifications to protect ourselves and flourish as we structure our finance transactions?  When will signs of a recovery result in sustainable growth?  Where might the new opportunities lie for M&A and corporate development?

Henry Miller will share his vision of the future. Having played a direct role in some of the nation’s most complex bankruptcy cases and distressed M&A transactions, Mr. Miller’s bio reads like a Restructuring Who’s Who.  Mr. Miller’s instincts and insights also come from nearly 40 years of leadership at the more active and prestigious investment banking firms in the country including: Wasserstein Perella/Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Salomon Brothers, Prudential Securities, and Lehman Brothers.
