KEYNOTE LUNCHEON PROGRAM |
David McCormick (US Treasury 2007-2009) joins Liz Claman (Fox Business Network, Anchor) for a candid discussion about the Paulson days and what to expect in the future. Henry Miller ( Miller Buckfire & Co., Chairman) will examine restructuring issues.
Drawing from his tenure under Henry Paulson at the height of the current economic crisis, and prior years as deputy national security advisor for international economic policy and President Bush’s representative to the Group of Eight, Mr. McCormick will respond to yet unresolved questions of: How did this happen? How can something similar, or worse, be avoided in the future? What don’t we know about what is next? How can we work around the current ramifications to protect ourselves and flourish as we structure our finance transactions? When will signs of a recovery result in sustainable growth? Where might the new opportunities lie for M&A and corporate development?
Henry Miller will share his vision of the future. Having played a direct role in some of the nation’s most complex bankruptcy cases and distressed M&A transactions, Mr. Miller’s bio reads like a Restructuring Who’s Who. Mr. Miller’s instincts and insights also come from nearly 40 years of leadership at the more active and prestigious investment banking firms in the country including: Wasserstein Perella/Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Salomon Brothers, Prudential Securities, and Lehman Brothers.
