Thomas D. Macphee, Vice
President Corporate Development and Strategy, Rohm and Haas Company
Mr. Macphee is currently
Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy. He joined
Rohm and Haas Company in 1978 as a process chemist. Since that
time, he has worked in numerous areas including Polymer Operations
and New Ventures.
In 1992, he was named
vice president of Marketing and Finance for Plaskon, a former
electronic materials subsidiary of Rohm and Haas. Mr. Macphee
joined the Corporate Development and Strategy group in 1995, where
he has led numerous acquisitions and venturing efforts for the
company. Mr. Macphee currently has responsibility for strategic
planning, acquisitions and divestitures, and new business
development.
Mr. Macphee earned a BS
in Chemistry from the University of Delaware in 1976 and an MBA in
Finance from Temple University in 1982.
Mr. Macphee serves on the
Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Economy League.
